"I'm never going to be famous. My name will never be writ large on the roster of Those Who Do Things. I don't do any thing. Not one single thing. I used to bite my nails, but I don't even do that any more." -
Dorothy Parker (1893-1967)
Ah yes - I've seen this scene before all over the midwest - the rolling hills remind me more of Wisconsin than Illinois but this is really well captured.
“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”
Hmmm Reminds me of good home cookin' and kids playing barefoot in the field. I'm a country kid at heart. I miss good ole Ohio. What a beautiful state..
"Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes."
A right pretty farm scene you've captured. Nice composition, I love the fences and the winding road & drive-way leading deeper into the scene. Good lighting and a lovely blue sky. Great job Jim.
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative.
