The geese must like it there, or else they would head off to the marsh lands nearby. This is in Huron, Ohio.

Thanks for the comments, friends.

Don't know either what's the reason for their stay there, Jimbob. The only thing I know for sure now, is that you've provided us again with a very fine image! Thanks for that, my friend.
Regards, Cornelius.

I like that one goose taking a leisurely stroll along the pier, I've seen ships doing many things but never unloading gravel...what a gorgeous summer day done with such clarity and crispness Jimbob!

Three geese and all three squeaky clean - not a trace of oil on them! Nice image with the tanker and the shore behind it Jimbob.
P.S. I like your Avie. Was it taken just before the knock out or later in the hospital? LOL!!

Maybe the geese can get more junk food here instead of the marshes. Great title, and even better post.

Judging from your avie, I would say nature won. A very clear shot per usual. I suspect the cats are thick across the way. :)

Great photo Jim, clean and sharp, funny, when I see photos like this of ships, it makes me wonder how the hell they float, I know it's all to do with water displacement and all that science stuff, but hell, that ship is hooooooooooooooooooge.

Nice one.
