I thought the little white building might be a school house, but there are no paths beaten around it anywhere, to indicate any activity. There is grass growing up on the door step, too.

Thanks for the comments, friends.

Oh it's those cute little hay stacks I like so much. Of course there is no activity Jimbob...it's summertime and the kids are on vacation...hehe. Pretty country scene!

That means the inhabitants of the haystacks are using the white building now and then, Jimbob :) Nice view, good colours.

Think they enter this cabin through the backside door, lol.

Fine rural post Jimbob. Well done, mate.

What a gorgeous capture and to me it looks like a school house, church or a meeting hall. They sure know how to stack the hay without a baler.

Maybe school has just been out for a long while? Makes for a great shot.

I am going with school house but there are no hitching posts in sight. I like the bell. Did you try to ring it?
Check back in the fall and see what is going on.

It's good to see another Amish upload Jimbob, I'm surprised to see the Amish paint their buildings, & the grass on the door steps adds to the mystery.

They were all probably just busy in the fields this time of year. I bet if you stalk the place you could see what it is used for sooner or later! <grins>
