Whoa, that lake looks really rough Jimbob and does look cold indeed. Really is a marvelous fall capture with that wonderful sky and action of the water.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Great composition, Jim! I liked the tree in your composition very much. But, sorry I have no idea about how cold it could be there. Here it's still 26°C.
Wow, this was taken just a couple days ago ? Where were you, if you don't mind me asking ? I live in Medina Cty. :o) Oh, it's really fantastic, btw. It captures one of the many moods of the Lake & in reality, once you get out from the shade of the tree, it really doesn't look all that bad of a day.
Very nicely captured and presented photo. Great composition, and nice lighting and shadows in the scene. I like the lone tree standing on the shoreline. Very nicely done.
Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.
