Jimbob - So long as the light doesn't play peek-a-boo with the ships on the lake, it can play the game with the condos. ;-) Crisp details and colors in the condo and light. Trees on the right offer a nice balance for the buildings to the left. The sweeping lines of the inlet complete the composition. Lighting is spot on. I'm not sure if it is my monitor, but there appears to be some noise in the sky (?). Thad
Well look what the cats or is it dogs drug in. Nice to see you back posting JimboB. I hope the respite did you good. This photo is a great sign. Congrats to your Buckeyes. They were one of the few Big 10 teams to win a bowl game.
AVATAR BY PJ............... i've been so bad about commenting on your photos. believe me when i say i look at them all. feel free to NOT comment on mine. Please Visit My Gallery
A really lovely scene,Jim,the lighting is very pleasant, the lighthouse seems very nice, the buildings look very good too, there seems to be smoke on the right,i am not sure what it is?
Great that you've resumed posting Jimbob. Like to say that you have chosen an excellent image for your restart. Save & Faved of course. Thanks for that mate. Regards, Cornelius
Knew that couldn't be the lighthouse keepers quarters! Nicely sharp and clear image, Jimbob. You sure can get that lens to do what I could never get out of it. Water level there sure looks shallow or maybe it's just low tide.
Nothing like seeing this one more than once!...lol...Its still gorgeous and faved Jim! There does seem to be a little noise like Thad said in the sky, but it wasn't there on the other site! Go figure!
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Looks like this would be a perfect get-a-way. Love how the lighthouse is partially hidden. Great angle to show off the surroundings too. Wonderful capture Jim.
Really well composed and it is a pleasure to view. I like the contrast of the pristine white and green of the builsings and the grey sky. The peeking lighthouse invbites getting a closer look - and I see you have a post that gives us that - which is also excellent.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
