Looks good JimboB. It reminds me of one of Mr. Sea's shots with the skaters, minus the windmills, the dunes, the canals, the Dutch.....Oh well, you know what I mean. I like the treatment you gave it. Good winter colors.
It looks like an enjoyable day, and such a beautiful shot Jim! So happy to see you posting!!!! Those trees and sky look so gorgeous in this capture. Outstanding work!
Hello Jim.....I do like this picture showing people enjoying what nature provides....Very nicely composed....Well done....All the very best to you Jim..................mick.
Just what I like to see...real life drama. What a great pastime for the kids at this time of year. For me it was skating and sledding. Everything looks real good in this shot and the angle is really nice. Good color too.
Jimbob - It looks like fun. I'll be over with my skates and stick in a bit. Oh wait - after breaking my leg playing hockey in '96, my wife threatened to change the locks if I payed again. Okay, vicariously, I'll enjoy watching the game. WIth the post-photo work, the scene has great depth, almost 3D, and real fine color tones. Thad
I think it's time to bring out the Zamboni and redo the ice... did you know the first ice resurfacer was developed by Frank Zamboni in 1949 in the city of Paramount, California. What a nice shot Jimbob showing a slice of life winter scene in Northern Ohio! A+++
AVATAR BY PJ............... i've been so bad about commenting on your photos. believe me when i say i look at them all. feel free to NOT comment on mine. Please Visit My Gallery
Jim I have never played real ice hockey but considering there is not that much to do on a snowy day why not?? The kids look like they are enjoying it! Great shot. Paul
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
C'mon Jim , Put down the Camera and grab a stick and show those young whippersnappers how to play. Glad you stuck with the camera though, Very nice shot.
