Sorry to hear of your loss Jimbob I'm sure Mickey was a good dog, & will be missed by all the family. I never forget the pain it took to have my pet cat Poppy put down.

Mickey was luck to have you! I am sorry for your loss.

What a sweet and gentle looking pup, Jim. I'm sorry he is gone. I have dealt with those feelings after losing pets so many times. My dog has anaplasma, a tick borne illness that wiped him out at twelve, but he is fighting his way back and even discovered that he could make it over a four foot fence recently, only because the snow and ice that supported his 19 pounds was three feet high. We sure do become attached, especially since they don't require much from us in exchange for their faithfulness and loyalty.~~ I remember when Mickey had his leg amputated and I pray that he rests in peace.

Oh Jim, I am so sorry about Mickey. Our beloved pets become one with us, don't they? They ask so little and give so much. I learn the true meaning of 'unconditional' from my pets. Their departure from our lives leave us with their paw prints on our hearts......

My deepest sympathies, Jim. Went through this once myself and the definitive word for it is that it sucks. Buzzdog had heart issues that were treatable for a while but as soon as I felt he was beginning to suffer I took him to the vet one last time. It's our responsibility to take of them even if it hurts us in the process. You did what you had to do and it was the right thing, my friend. So sorry to here about mikey. He really had it rough the last few years. when I was a younger we had a puppy that was born in our backyard and lived seventeen years it was tough putting him down and took almost a year before I stopped going to the door to let him out in the yard. Hang in there Jim.

Jim ... Sorry about your loss. Mickey looks like he was the bestest of friends. I had to put down several dogs over the years & it something that's never very easy to do. Mickey's loyalty & friendship will always be a part of you. Take care.
