The Toledo Zoo Conservatory is fill with all kinds of plants, and in the Summer, you feel like you are in a sweat box when inside. Hot and humid just barely describes it!
So you took a picture outside?...lol...I don't blame you if its thats hot! Beautifully arranged flowers and a perfect comp Jim! The colors are so beautiful!
Neat presentation on this. I'm assuming you were standing in a stone doorway. The colors and shapes fit well together. Would have been a neat "balance" contest picture. =)

What a riot of many colors and large variety of spring flowers Jimbob. Excellent how you used the two stone walls to frame the aconservatory gives it depth. A+++ on this beauty! Diane
But in winter it is nice - for the first five minutes LOL! very nice capture of this good looking conservatory Jimbob. Great clarity and nice colours in this image.
I really like how your framed the conservatory with the stone pillars on each side of the shot. So, with it being so hot, did you take your shirt off (if you had one with you, that is). Lol. Have a great weekend Jimbob. ~~ John
Jimbob - Built when greenhouses were meant to last as an architectural statement! Framed nicely by the stonework, the beautiful flowers and great sky, fore and aft, make this greenhouse even more striking. Thad
Is this the Thomas Edison birthplace house again? Oh, it's the Toledo Zoo Conservatory. I believe I read in the 1st edition copy of "The Jimbo Book of Photographic Composition" that I recently purchased that buildings should only rarely be shot straight on. Then again, it's my mistake for believing everything that I read.
Very nice job framing the shot with those walls. Beautiful colors and a fine posting.
