The name of the "Green head" here in Brazil is "Marreco", You made a so crystal shot of this fellow that when I enlarge the photo I almost can touch "him", Jim! Very cute.
Every time I picked up a pool cue in my younger days, I heard those words from opponents that were lining up to fleece me JimboB. Good editing and it looks like the hen has a frog in her throat. :)
The brown one is oh so chunky! I think the green one should steer clear of her if he hopes to get any bread for himself. A wonderful capture of Jack Sprat and his wife, Jimbob.
Man's heart away from nature becomes hard. ~Standing Bear ***** I believe in God, only I spell it "Nature" ~Frank Lloyd Wright, quoted, 14 August 1966 **** With innovation and technology, seems we have forgotten to cherish the true beauty the world has to offer. ~A.C. Van Cherub
The one closer is our normal male duck but the one behind looks like a gangster. Is the poor "normal" duck being kidnapped? The expressions (facial) make me think so. LOL! Very nice capture of normal and unusual duck,Jimbob.
Wow - they do look like two different kind of ducks - the mallards on my pond out back - the female is smaller - that is one large lady duck! An interesting and good capture.
Was "The nearby Pond" Lake Michigan? Those are some nasty looking ripples. Hope you brought your surf board, Jim. Nice shot of the ducks, but the ripples are a bit distracting. Please note that I have a roaring headache due to an overdose of allergy meds; so it's probably my brain telling me to avoid the breakers on the beach. 6 out of 10 for me.
Oh my, I just love this Jimbob, especially that rippling water and the textures that the ducks are creating in this water. Marvelous colours and capture
