Now that is a big and old barn JimboB. There has been a lot of BS passed through its doors over the years. Not unlike your front door. :) Great shot and have a great weekend.
Now if that isn't something...advertisement right on the barn!...lol...Perfect composition, excellent focus, and natural colors make this outstanding Jim! Cool shot!
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
So this is what a barn in Ohio looks like. Rather large, painted red and no manhole lid sized holes in the roof. What an interesting concept. In other words you could store farm equipment inside without it getting rusted and weathered. Who woulda thunk it?
Technically I can't find much to critique. I'm not sure how you get away with shooting clear blue skies without ending up with noise. When I know I'm headed out the next day to take a few shots, I'm on my knees praying for clouds. On my postings I spend 95% of my editing trying to get rid of the noise in the sky.
I'd love to get my hands on some of the wood on that barn - it's great for frames. Nice perspective on this and as usual the colors and detail are great - nice presentation -
What a grand red barn ... it looks to be in very good shape too. I like the painting of Ohio on the one end. Great composition too. Very well done, Jim.
