Very crisp and easy to read. Is it an old sign or just made to look old? it is very stylish how come they don't have the distance to Fremont on it?

Gosh, I had vision of seeing a 'root' canal!...(Dental filling!)lol

How do they change that notice, if they have to keep off it?...

Nice find here pal.

The antique look of most of the scene makes me think Mark Twain might have been there JimboB. Again your FDR highlights rather than distracts. Goodun'

If nightly trafic on water is allowed there, hope that the information sign is illuminated. Imagine that one passes lock 44 without knowing that for Cincinnati one has 220 miles to go, lol.

Very original post, Jimbob.

Regards, Cornelius.

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

Striking clarity in this image Jimbob. Distances shown like on a highway. Very interesting.

I really like the post photo work on this shot, Jimbob. Love the look of the weathered textures especially. You've taken what could have been a simple snap shot and created a work of art.
