Could be a scene of more than hundred years ago. The only difference is that they hadn't that good camera's in that time, lol. Wonderful continuation of this very fine series, Jimbob! Regards, Cornelius.
Pity, I am sad more than they are. This had to be fantastic trip, I could travel for days like that. I think this is your best shot from the canal series. Great, Jim!
Jimbob - A scene from yesteryear, captured with excellent lighting and composition with modern photography gear. Now, grab the land end of the rope and resume pulling the flatboat! Thad
Horse driven or horsepower driven, it must be quite an enjoyable ride Jimbob. This scene looks lovely with all the trees on the banks and the nice looking boat.
I don't understand why it took a 20 mule team to pull that Borax wagon and it only takes 2 to pull that big boat. Another excellent image, Jimbo... Great series
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
Good picture too!>..I like it
