Good clarity and colours like all the other canal shots. Here also well composed showing the bridge across. Where is the "mule stop" with carrots laid out for the towing team :)
---We are approaching Kimble's Landing, where you get the tickets for the canal boat ride---
Thought that the ride was for free, Jimbob, because of the educational aspects, lol. Just kidding. Wouldn't have any problem to pay a reasonable price, in order to secure this cultural heritage for the future.
Thanks again for continuating this wonderful series this way.
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
I like how the lines of the tow path and canal lead the eye into the distance. I cant get over how there are no people - were they all having a canal boat ride and you missed it? ha ha Well done, lovely piece of work you have here Jim! Ann
This one is probably my second favorite, Jimbob, behind "Canal Experience 13". I love the mood you've captured here. I feel peace and serenity when I see this shot. Excellent capture of the textures, splendid sky with those enormous clouds and a very appealing perspective as we move straight ahead, then bend slowly to the right and disappear to the left. The bridge adds interest and even more color to the shot.
As an aside, this place looks like a wonderful place to take photos or just hang out with a picnic lunch.
Another fantastic shot from this lovely place, Jimbo. Looks like a great place for a walk, but when ya get to Kimble's Landing you think you can get us tickets to ride that boat. My dam feet are killin' me from all this walkin'...
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
