Jimbob, according to Owd Bob's advice, I have turned my screen for 180°, but it wasn't that helpful. So finally I have flipped the image. I can read the text now, but the light of the lamp is shining now into the wrong direction, LOL!!!
Very good and well balanced composition resulting in a ditto image.
Very nice composition showing the bridge and surroundings. I can imagine that the view from the other side may not be so good. Very nice and clear image Jimbob.
I like the way the six barrels balance out the view. I wonder why they have them there, however, in the first place. Are they using them as rain barrels, or for storage, or just for the shear beauty they add to the view of the bridge?
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
Very nice work on this one, Jimbob. I understand exactly what you mean about the shot not looking as good from the other side. But I also understand the comments above about using the mirror image. I had no idea you were such a purist. Either way, this one looks great. I especially like the symmetrical view you've provided although all things technical seem to be on the mark.
You got a doody with that lead in!...The barrels leading to the bridge
