You forgot to mention there is another alternative - relieve the mules (or one of them) and pull the boat:) Nice and sharp image of the ticket shack Jimbob.
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
Ah! Tickets at last, Eh Jimbo! As soon as they get those barrels of moonshine loaded I'll go up and get my ticket. A fine looking image. Excellent work.
Jimbob, this image makes our impressions of this event complete, but my wallet empty. Hope that Ed is right with his above comment about the barrels filled with moonshine. Would ease the pain of an empty wallet somewhat, lol. Thanks for another good one in this series, mate. Regards, Cornelius. are
Jimbob...the guys who run this park really have put together an experience to behold. They have a knack for using just the right text style and colors to make you want to hand over your hard earned cash. It's almost like they've used an interior (exterior) designer to place the barrels in just the right place to make everything look authentic when in reality this probably bares no resemblance to what the canal looked like when the area wasn't a park. This has been an excellent series of shots. I've enjoyed them all.
This is a lovely shot of this cabin. Im in awe at the detail bestowed on this little ticket office - particularly those quarter wagon wheels that are fixed to the top of each supporting pillar proping up the roof. Nice work Jim! Ann
