This young Robin was sitting in my birdbath, so I got out the Canon G9 real fast and went out to get a shot before it flew off. I was real quiet, and when it spotted me, it just stayed there. I got in it's face, practically, and got off quite a few shots. I thought it was hurt or something. I went back in, and then came out again, but it was gone. I guess it was just soaking it's feet for a bit.

The young Robin in your birdbath is looking up at you with such sweet innocent eyes that melts your heart..I'm glad the bath was there to cool of her tootsies. Thanks JB!

I think the cat had it in the birdbath for a little Robin soup, JimboB. It came back and enjoyed its dinner. Good thing you got this great shot of him so he will always be remembered. I like the thatch looking feathers. Clarity is superb.
