Nicely framed by the tree branches. The water level looks low. Appears to be a beautiful day in Ohio. Some nice houses up there on the riverbank too. Well, done, as always, Jim.

I can smell the sunlight on your skin. Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make!

I like the natural framing and the log hanging over the edge. Good one Jim.

Jimbob, you have achieved a very good presentation of this beautiful scene by both a wonderful artificial and natural frame. Well done, my friend.

It looks like some nice houses along the Maumee, JimboB. I can easily see you put some thought into the photo with the excellent framing. It looks like one of those carefree summer days. Nice post.

Now that you mention it, Jimbob, you do have a recognizable style. First of all your frames are very distinctive. Secondly you do something with sharpness, contrast and color that creates a unique depth to your images. Occasionally I see something in your work that reminds me of one of my postings. I have a tendency to click the -gamma one time more than I should. It's not a virtuous trait in a photo. For such a bright and beautiful summer day, you might have pulled a Roger. Other than that, my only problem with the shot is that I would have enjoyed it quite a bit more if you were on that log waving to us. I'm picturing the scene from "Dr. Strangelove" with Slim Pickens riding the hydrogen bomb down to the ground while he's waving his cowboy hat.

Great shot to capture the flavor of the entire area Jim. I think you had a nice winter shot of this area as well.
