Thought by the title that you would show us a picture of your president in front of his residence, Jimbob, but I like this one even more, because I've seen that White House in Washintong DC pretty much, lol.
The old American Dream, JimboB. A family with 2.3 kids, white house with picket fence, 50 inch screen HD TV and a Mustang in the driveway. Make that an Edsel in the driveway. Super shot of Americano.
That sure is a long address. Long street, no doubt. I love the old houses and especially that screen door. Looks like a good old fashioned wooden fence too and not that junky plastic stuff. Great shot.
Oh1 and I thought you just retuned from Washington LOL! This is a beautiful white house lined on either side by the trees and your capture of it is excellent Jimbob.
I may live 3000 miles away on the right side of The Atlantic Ocean but you you can't fool me, Barack Obama does NOT live here! Great shot of a lovely old-fashioned house.
Didn't you once tell me that you didn't clone out fences unless they were in front of the subject? :-)
Wonderful presentation you have here, Jimbob. The detail and sharpness of the focus are crystal clear. Me? I would have cranked the saturation and spoiled the shot. You just know when to say enough. Very nice architectural photography of middle America. But, you know, shots like this never get anything in the VB. An excellent photo isn't enough. You need to drop in a white sandy beach and a few palm trees on that side yard.
That is a beautiful house Jim. I love older homes that have so much more character than the cooker cutter ones that I've grown up with. This one reminds me of our old family home from the 1860's in northern Michigan.
Very good composed image. Well done, mate.
Regards, Cornelius.
