Remember THIS picture? What looked to be purple flowers, are actually paddle boats.

I have visited Wikipedia to find out what kind of flowers you had depicted and I was told that it are huge purple artificial water lilies (nymphaea purpura artificialis magno), Jimbob. They are pretty rare, so I've never seen them before, lol.

Very fine image, my friend.

I too looked up the "purple flowers" and believe they may be "etiam bibendum purpura remus," not so rare as one may think!

Well those are the prettiest looking cluster of paddle boats I have ever seen. Thanks for this shot Jim.

I though they looked a bit too big for foofies. A very unusual sight which you may not see even in China! Great shot of these "colourful carriers" Jimbob.

I love them both, I can't decide what should I like more. Foofies are beautiful, but boats are fun. Tough decision, Jim.

Oh well, guilty as charged. I thought they were flowers. Well, either way, the purple looks great against the turquoise water.

First of all, Jim, is that you in the avatar? My god, you're 3 months older than me and look like a young stud.

Now that I have that total bullshit out of the way, let's proceed. If the water was brown, this could be the lake in my local park. We have the same shade of paddle boats. There must have been a glut of purple paddle boats on the market.

I want to critique your photo. Depends on what a person thinks a critique is supposed to be. Nice shot is a critique but really says nothing. Thanks for sharing is almost an insult. We are on Caedes after all to share our photos. I might as well say thanks for breathing. I would rather be saying thanks for the cash, but I'll be waiting for the cash just as long as you'll be waiting for that French waffle maker.

Or I could just ramble aimlessly and not say anything pertinent, but I wouldn't waste your time or mine doing anything that stupid.

So my critique of your shot is more of a comment since I see no obvious flaws. It's a nice shot of the purple boats. I now have some incite into your life and what your part of Ohio looks like. I feel like a better man for having viewed your posting.

Purple is good!!! I think it pisses God off when you walk by the color purple in a field and don't notice it.

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
