This is one time that having its eyes closed enhances an animal shot. He must thinking you would be right tasty. Kinda like Buckeye Jerky. :)

Jimbob - Terrific capture of this big bear! The polar bear uses its white fur as camouflage when hunting its prey, with its head low tot he snow so the black nose won't be seen. In the northlands, there is a saying that when you see and hear the polar bear, it's too late. Thad

That is one immense zoo or a mural in the background. Wonderful composition and just the right amount of silly in your posting. If I didn't have a sense of humor, I wouldn't have any sense at all.
Never knew that a polar bear's tongue wasn't pink or did you toss some black licorice into his cage? Really timely shot and typically excellent clarity.
