Very good capture of the lighthouse Jimbob especially with that sky behind and the low angle from which you took this.

Another good shot of your Lighthouse JimboB. I like how you isolated it and the angle you chose. Owd Timer was probably right about the knees cracking.

I like the vantage point on this one, Jimbob, looking from down to up on this pretty white lighthouse. Wonderful cloud filled sky for background too. Nicely done and the vertical seems a good choice too.

This is a very good shot and its phallic connotations are the bonus - for me [LOL]

Hey, Jimbob....

You picked a great day for this shot. Those threatening overcast skies are a stark reminder why light houses were constructed in the first place. The focus and contrast in the foreground really adds some impressive depth to the shot of the light house.

I got out my laser level. The shot seems to be left leaning by 0.0003°. Additionally I have a comment/questions. I have always heard that centering the subject is the last best alternative. Any reason why this isn't offset or do you not subscribe to that premise. Just wondering because I think the posting looks wonderful.

I like this one so much, I think the centering of the lighthouse works in this shot. Great sky to help enhance the image as well. Tigs♥ =^..^=

I enjoy this lighthouse, Jimbob. Would have had another opininon when I had seen a lighthouse that close during my active career, lol. The dramatic sky is a fine bonus, mate.

Regards, Cornelius.

Jimbob - POV is excellent. The foreground rock on which this light is built offers a unique perspective. The trees behind the light offer contrast for similar tones of the light and the sky. Thad
