Beautiful, little and quiet place. I Like it very much, although I admit, I don't know anything about birding platforms. But you know it and you know what to shoot. LOL

I assume some of your shots were taken from the Observation Tower, JimboB. I wish they had more of these around. The deer hunters get upset when I spook their deer trying to get in their deer stand. Me, not the deer.
Fall colors are really good.

Have my doubts whether this platform in this form is suitable as a birding platform. Birds aren't blind and will see a bird watcher there very well.
The evironment however is beautiful and well captured by you, Jimbob. A wonderful shot, mate!

I'm always captivated by "golden grasses" in an image, Jim and this time is no different. They are beeeauuutiful! What a great spot to have a seat and let nature come to you -

The tower reminds me of an obstacle on the course we ran in boot camp. The golden colors along with the deep greens are fantastic.

Looks like a great place to spend some time taking some fine photos. Or just sit, relax and enjoy the time.

This one is a nearly perfect composition. I've never seen a birding platform. I like that you included plenty of the foreground grasses. It helps to give the shot some real depth. I can't think of anything that I would change in this image; so I guess my commentary is not chocked full of photographic insights. As usual I see no technical flaws.

My first thought was mmmmm venison for dinner :) but after a closer look I guess it's a little elaborate for a deer stand. Pretty area and you captured it well ;) Was it squishy where you were standing in the marsh?

Looks like you'd get a good view from up there, but it does seem a bit exposed and the birds would see you! The Autumn colours are lovely in this. Nice image.
