Jimbob - Fortunately, stingers ignore us, finding flowers much more desirable. Very fine dof and lighting, highlighting the wasp feeding on the red flowers. Thad
Very good focus, and I do know that they can be hard to capture as they are busy at work, and very active. I think this is a perfect foofy for the day. Tigs♥ =^..^=
Stunningly perfect, Jim :) the transparency of the wings render the otherwise threatening markings much more delicate. You have captured this bee as a work of art. I Also like the markings and semi transparency on the leaf. Of course, this bee chose the perfectly colored foofie. Very nice indeed :)
Suppose it's not a stinger Jimbob, but a hoverfly. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that you have provided us with a wonderful F² image. Thanks for that, mate!

WOW, how long did you wait for this image ? Your camera setting are absolutely perfect, great management of the DOF. The only thing disturb me is that insect shows us his back. It would be better to see a side or his face, but sometimes it's impossible. Anyway, I love your image Jim. Fantastic job.
Jim I was hoping that this was taken yesterday because If it was I am heading your way! I can use a little summer about now. Very nice image! Love the composition and DOF! Paul
