Just off the point of Cape Henlopen, in Lewes, Delaware. The Ferry goes between Lewes, and Cape May, New Jersey, a one hour and ten minute cruise! No way was I going to clone out the SUV. It gives a sense of scale!
The SUV is perfect right where it is, Jimbob. The size of the ferry is immense in comparison. Really nice, subdued colors in the shot and well focused. There seems to be too much sky, but I'm at a loss how to remove the sky without screwing up the dimensions of the image.
I love ferry rides. Thad had a ferry post too of the one that goes from New London, CT to Long Island. Lots of these boats up and down the eastern seaboard, especially between the mainland and the islands. Beautiful ferry shot here and I think the suv looks fine where it is.
Dear SAJ, By all means a lovely boat [like all ladies of course], but what role does the car [or as you call it 'SUV'] play here ? Immaterial and unnecessary, therefore deleted. LOL Well, just kidding. About the boat LOL SAM
Very good image Jim, I love the way you let the SUV on your picture. It fills an empty part and, as you said, gives the scale. I also like the colors. Nice composition.
