Look closely at the front of the boat house. Is it really a sort of concave design or does it just look that way? You decide. It was sitting a ways off the road, and on private property, so I am not altogether sure myself.
Wow, that is just way too cool. It does look like the front of the boathouse is concave, but then again not. I keep going back & forth, but it must be some sort of optical illusion. Good find, Jim ... someone had their creative mind thinking when they built the boathouse. Excellent capture.
A remarkable illusion! The builder must be quite creative. I think it looks like a porch, but it still appears to purposely built with this illusion. A wonderful find and a great shot of it Jim:)
It's an optical illusion, as far as the wood goes...BUT...Why does the shadow of the door look flat on the white background, such as a generic Photoshop shadowing effect? The shadow would be less opaque and more or less underneath and towards the hinges of the door, with the white background showing different shades of light/dark progression...were it all real...
Well Jim you have certainly found a puzzle here! I have looked quite a few times and come to the conclusion that the window is real, but the illusion is just that. The reason I think this is in that clue of a shadow to the left of the building. If the sun was on the right, then by rights there should be a shadow in the concave illusion too which there isnt. Well thats my theory anyway. Great capture and well spotted - what ever it is!! ha ha Ann
