I edited this with Topaz Simplify to give it an artistic look because the original picture didn't turn out as good as I would have liked. If you look close, you can see it has caught a lizard or something with it's beak.

Jimbob, I know by own experience that it's a tough job to capture a heron because they are very shy. Thinks it's beginners luck (LOL!!!!!!) that you could capture it even with a prey in its beak. Finally you've edited your image to a wonderful 'painting'.

Nice modification of an unwanted photograph Jimbob, it would make an excellent design for a tapestry, but hey I'm biased because I love all the birds.
