Your photo is so crisp I can practically hear those waves crashin'. Hope you didn't get too wet. They say saltwater spray isn't good for cameras.

That would make a Great Place to wash out your unmentionables. Against the Rocks?

Fine timing on the Crash and Splash Jim.

Wouldn't be a problem to me to stand there and get soaked by the splashing water. Think you had the same thing in mind when taking this wonderful image Jimbob. Very well done my friend.

Regards, Cornelius.

The first thing that struck me was how angular the rocks are for a coastline. They aren't rounded from water erosion. That makes me think they are possibly quartz boulders with iron oxide and white streaks of some kind of mineral deposit (dolomite?). The iron oxide has leached out to form the red sands.
I love the power of the waves that is captured in this photo! The image is crisp and the colors are wonderful.

The main colours here brown, & blue compliment each other so well, a lovely clear shoreline scene Jimbob, I especially like the wave splash action you've frozen. (o:

Great colors and action shot, Jim...of course I'm always partial to water shots anyways but I am impressed with this composition and those rock colors and textures too...well done.
