I believe this was taken at the Toledo Zoo, in Ohio. I have had this one in my computer for a few years now.

That's a hybrid indeed Jimbob. Have never seen this before. Think one of the parents is a black swan while the other parent could be a white one. If so, one could have expected a gray one, lol.
Nature decide such things in its own way my friend. Seen and taken very well!

Very nice shot of the swan with great clarity and colours Jimbob. That decoration on the beak always makes me wonder whether that is there to attract a female.

I actually have seen these before at our local zoo. They are from South America, as I remember, the Black-necked swan.

This is a great image! The reflection of the swan's body almost looks like spilled milk.

Unusual to me, but very beautiful JimBob. Nice reflection. (Was this poor swan by itself - usually I see them in pairs.)

I may have seen one of these swans at a zoo once, but it's been so very long ago. Love the detail on the head of this unique swan. Beautifully captured, Jim.

One like that is quite unusual I believe. It's quite striking though. Great capture.

I think it moonlights as a Chimney Sweep, JimboB.
Unique, to say the least.
Good capture.
