Might be good for the bird version of the "Ice Bucket Challenge" or a small skating rink for birds. I am not sure how you would get a Zamboni on it though?????? Ooh! Ooh! No! Wait! Pour a little water on it and you could have the "Polar Bird Swimm".

Somehow sad and hopeful at the some time - spring will come and they'll be splashing around and that snow birdbath will be but a memory - an excellent shot Jim.
It looks as though the only visitor here was the photographer Jimbob. You mean they don't have a bath the whole winter? Dirty buggers! Good winter shot.
A bird bath is also a important drinking source for our feathered friends, many people fail to realise the importance of drinking water during the freeze. There are heated bird baths available [some battery operated] which have the added attraction of encouraging shy birds back to your garden in the winter.
A nice clear post Jimbob, I suspect you photographed it from indoors. (o:
Think it's time to replace it by a covered birdbath Jimbob, LOL!!!! Just kidding of course. For a more serious approach, think one is wise to read the above comment of Phil (gonedigital).

No visitors lately? Gee, I wonder why, lol...a little different winter image...nice shadows...woulda' been a good one for the previous contest...but since I see a 'circular' bird bath here it might be a consideration for the current one...good shot, Jim.
