Good shot of Aldrich Pond, Jimbob. If the melt factor is at such an advance stage, I would refrain from ice skating activities until next year.

No walking on ice here Jimbob. That mctre of greenish water and the cluster of trees in the middle make this a lovely shot.

Then it will be time to hang up your skates and sled eh!...along with the snow blower too!..

I have to say...we have had very little snow this year..nothing to what you've had!....

This still makes a terrific image!..

Are you sure Jimbob? If not, think that in this case the wish is father to the thought, lol.

Wonderful capture again my friend!

All our lakes and ponds are ice free, JimboB. I know because I hit a golf ball in one. :)

That's the way the lake outside my condo looks right now Jim - but doubt it will be ice free by weeks end as we are diving back into the 40's for the rest of the week. Excellent capture of "pre-spring"!

We had ice here a few years ago, lasted a day or two then it was back in the 70's.

Doesn't look like it will take much and you'll see nice blue water, well maybe not blue, but at least water. Nice capture.

Great capture. Is that a wood duck or barn owl nesting box
on the other side of the lake?

Before it's all gone you should make one last trip to the island. Nice colour tones and lighting in the photo, Jimbob.
