This was taken on March 30th, when there was still a lot of ice on Lake Erie, although it is not as evident in this shot. This one is for Lyn's Black and White Challenge.

Soon the lake will be in full swing with boat traffic and swimmers diving off the dock. I agree in that the B/W adds an overall coldness to the scene. Good one for the challenge, Jimbob.

Did you try unplugging it so it will thaw out faster? Or maybe use a heat gun. A good b/w presentation of the scene, Jimbob. Nice depth and contrasts in the photo.
