Across Lake Erie in Michigan, is the DTE-Monroe Power Plant. I took this shot from Maumee Bay State Park in Ohio.

Beautiful wide shot. BTW Jimbob, I have been meaning to mention how much I like your avi with your granddaughter. She is very pretty and brings much needed class to your picture.

A good panorama too...the foreground distracts from the industrial setting...but the smoke/steam adds to it!

Jimbob, I like to agree what John has said above about your avie.

In spite of the Co2 pollution, it's a very nice pano my friend.

I like the foreground and the view across Lake Erie. Again, I like the muted colors of your images.

I googled the power plant and found: Monroe Power Plant demolished its last 800-foot concrete stack in June 2014, two 580-foot stacks now release water vapor instead of large amounts of toxins like their predecessors. (Of course, water vapor contributes to global warming, but at lease they've made progress)

A lovely panoramic shot Jimbob. That bit of exhaust from the twin stacks makes quite a difference. Good one!

Talk about depth! Nicely composed pano highlighting nature and man's often abuse of it. Bravo, Jimbob.

Too bad you couldn't get a shot of the Fermi nuclear plant up the road. I used to pass on the way to Cedar point.
