About a minute after taking this shot, the skies opened up, and a huge downpour took place. Luckily I was back in the car already.

You could see that one coming in the skies behind but that weird lighting you get right before a storm really highlighted this beautiful old cart - good capture.

In this case it's better to have a shelter (the car) instead for getting a 'shower for free' Jimbob.
Think however that you have taking some risk for still capturing this dramatic scene, but a good photographer doesn't always obey what his or her common sense demands to do my friend.

You captured a great image of the cart as well as that imposing sky that was brewing up a storm - happy to hear you were able to get back to the car in time and it was well worth it because this is a great shot Jimbob!!!

That was a close call from getting natures shower, lol. Really like this old style wagon and the pattern and colours on the sides, marvelous capture and find

Wonderful capture. This is all about the colors, contrasts, and horizontal image that is highlighted by the dirt road. Sky is perfect. Good catch, right time at right place.
