I love being about to see the truss work without the sides on JimBob. It is great that it is being preserved because it is such a beautiful bridge. We will look forward to seeing the photos from You when it is finished.
It's great that they are taking extra steps to preserve the Mull Covered Bridge. While it may lose some it's seasoned wood; future generations will be able to enjoy her. Good one, Jimbob.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
I'm kind of late in commenting, but totally agree how glad I am that they are restoring it, and I do look forward to the finished work, that I know you will share with us. Good one for sure Jimbob. tigs=^..^=

Wow, that's wonderful they are restoring that gorgeous old covered bridge, thanks for the link to the past image. Thanks for sharing this amazing image
I like the before-and-after you've provided us, Jim. Even from this far away from the bridge it's easy to see how thick the original timbers were, the bridge being built well before the time when mills planed off the rough surfaces of boards the way we see them today (not to mention mention crooked and bowed at the big box home improvement stores!*@#$@**!).
