With 'some' new paint and other maintenance, a lot of its character has gone Jimbob. One can't have all in life. One must choose for either safety or nostalgia. Nostalgia with permanently a helmet on your head won't do my friend, lol.

The Mull does look like a new bridge, Jim. Unfortunately, the wood in the old one looked like it was deteriorating badly and would not have lasted much longer. We have Your photos for memories of how it was. At least, they renovated and did not tear it down, which is a wonderful thing.

It almost doesn't look as long as the original, the new is nice but the old feeling isn't the same. It's a super capture showing the wonderful work they had to do to create this, lovely colours
