Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

You must have been to the carnival, because this looks like a shot of the top of a Merry-Go-Round, maybe taken from the Ferris Wheel. What fantastic colors there are in this image. Super duper work, Joanie. I think I will put it on the DT right now.

I really like the way this piece seems to have levels. It appears as if its almost liquid and solid in some spots. The depth is good too. Very original!
