This is Monet. Its one of my daughters,Lora, green cheeked conure who is only 6 months old. This is the most comical bird I've ever seen! Lora had just gotten her laptop going and was going to start her school work from the University of Cincinnati when it happened. Monet always sits on Lora's shoulder when she's doing anything. He's hardly ever in his cage! All of a sudden he swooped down and decided he'd help her with her work...lol...That look says, "don't even think of moving me, cause I'm staying!" Monet was born with a birth defect called scissor beak. Once a month Lora has to take him to the vet to have its beak filed down. It eats mainly larger or more solid foods because of his beak. He loves fruit like apples, pears, and oranges! He swoops down to get those too when she's slicing the fruit!...lol...We still don't even know his sex for sure. That won't happen until its older. So its a he/she for now....hehe....Thanks for the words my friends and hope you enjoy seeing this little cutie!
