Mesmerizing might be an apt descriptor for this image. What struck me first was the texture--both hard and soft at the same time. Then once the eye begins to move around, the great colors and depth become apparent. Wonderful combination of light and shadow, as well. Simply great work, Joanie!

Diamonds and drill bits. The colors are great as John points out. A Laser Diaglocation Emphasizer? That's an LDE. Good for when the CAT and the MRI and the PET don't turn up anything. lol

Sometimes I view your images as a type of Rorschach test. For example I see lots of high kicking ladies in old fashioned nylons. I don't know why they're wearing pizzas instead of high heels, but maybe you should explain it to me since it's your image.

I have no idea about fractals, but must say that I love this image. It is so full of vitality, vibrancy - perhaps owing to the mirrors there ... Or aren't they mirrors ...? LOL
