I hate to say it, but this will probably be my last upload for a few weeks. I'm having surgery on my thumb on Friday already! I'm really happy to be getting it fixed but sad that I won't be able to keep things up here til its healed good. I've got lots to do around home so I won't have to bother Al so much after the surgery. That will be quite fun since I can hardly do anything anyway now!...lol...Thanks so much for the views and comments my friends. Always appreciated.

Another jewel of an image Joanie. All the best for your operation. My wife had her thumb fixed about a year ago and she had no problem after that.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I see a giant ring, beautifully cut gems set in filigreed gold... one of the wonders of the world... the king of Siam wore it two centuries ago, then it went missing for a long time, only to surface in the 20th century when Richard Burton purchased it for his wife, Elizabeth. It now resides at the Smithsonian in the "Gem Room." ;-)

I see the gem-like qualities in this as well and I like the mirror frame you used. I hope the best for you in surgery and a rapid recovery.
