I can't believe that, as of today, I've been a member here for 10 years!!! I just commented and faved backgrounds the first 3 years, then John(lion)got me started on fractals in the 4th year. Don't know what I'd do without Caedes or all my friends!! Thanks for putting up with me...lol...My love to you all!!

Now, anniversary girl, I like your use of light and shadows on this one. They add depth of field to your composition of feathers, swirl, and marvelous colors. The repetition of the yellows and greens accentuate the reds and blues.
I think the diamond is your gem and so is the blue sapphire for this 10th anniversary. Both stones are perfect for this work you have presented to us.

It is if those colourful strings were twisted together, wound around a long thick tube and then the tube pulled out. Well done Joanie. It is beautiful. I'll be completing 8 years in May. We are all senior members :)

Compared with you I'm a youngster on Caedes Joanie (in July 8 years). Congratulations with your 10 years membership. You've done some great work for this site. The late 'Lion King' (John was called by me this way) earns a part of this honor too. I, and I think the older Caedes friends as well, miss him and his fabulous work daily.
