I don't know how to say this, but here goes....My artistic abilities I do believe are fading. I have 4 uploads in a folder which took me a very very long time to make! I remember John (lion) telling me about this same thing happening to him before he past on. You just can't force creativity. Anyway, I won't be leaving permanently after I'm done uploading my 4 fractals...I'll still come on to comment once in awhile like I do now. Its gonna seem strange for me. I hope you all understand. In the meantime enjoy and thanks for the views and comments my friends!

A wonderful design very well made Joanie. I suppose that to make these intricate designs certain amount of concentration is required. You are not sick or old - your problem is most probably lack of concentration due to all your worries. That is my opinion.

Joanie, this one is very pretty - I like the colors You've used and it is very creative. Possibly You will find other avenues of creativity to explore and post. I know exactly what You mean though, as I used to do some creative posts and they just decided to leave my fingertips so I went back to straight photography. Good Luck with whatever You choose.

I think maybe Raj is right. Your creative powers have taken a back seat to all your worries. They may come back once things settle down. I sure hope so, because I would miss you too much and your cool fractals. The one you have today sort of reminds me of a kaleidoscope image. I love the colors...especially the green, as you know. Don't be too much of a stranger, Joanie.

I get the same feelings all the time Joanie. All I do is take photos, so not much brain power used from me.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
This is sure a cool design, it has Joanie written all over it, because it is so superbly done. I tend to agree about the stress factor taking hold. Joanie, I think that you are confusing abilities with capabilities. I have seen that you have diminished your Caedes activities to a certain extent, but I haven't seen a proof that your abilities have been decreased. A comparison what has happened with our late friend 'John the Lion King' is irrelevant to me as well.
Thanks for this wonderful artwork. Hope you will be able to continue making your wonderful creations, but take the time as you are the only one that can determine the priority for that.

I would sure miss your creations my friend so I hope some stress reduction is the answer - I know my concentration is shot when I'm stressed - this shows no lack of creativity to my eye and is quite special with it's muted blue/green color palette.

I love this creation, nice forms and colors. Maybe you think that your artistic abilities left you, but we haven't noticed that. You could do whatever you decide, we are here waiting for more from you.
