Ohh this is very nice, taken from a building I assume? The lights are very colorful.

Gotta love the glow of over-population :p It is really a gorgeous shot though. What kinda camera do you have to use to get the streaky light effect?

Excellent addition Joby. Looks like the exit of the Federal Highway tunnel there at the bottom, one of my favorite things in South Florida. Is that what I'm looking at here? Also looks like someone was really driving outside the box (maybe drunk) in the middle of the photo there :). Anyone else see what I'm talking about? I'm glad I made you think to post this Joby. Awesome shot!

Thank you all for the comments! I will try to repond one at a time. Yes, it was taken from a tall building under construction. Second, it is a digital camera with manual controls, and I set the shutter time higher than the camera would have by itself. (16 sec). And as for you Torque, you are very perceptive. That is the tunnel exit, and as far as the driving, seems like they were trying to make a left...on short notice. :)

Ah, thank you Joby... I do love that tunnel. After I looked at this a bit more I think maybe the left-turner was coming out of a driveway on the side of the street where his slant originated and then going left. Just giving the benefit of the doubt that they may have been sober :).

Also, I know my DiMAGE Z1 allows for automatic exposures up to 15 secs or manuals up to 30 secs. (Days Go By...) was taken with a 10 second exposure because in that setting the longer exposures came out over-exposed. Would have to be farther from the lights like you were to get a nice long 30 second shot. And I'm just curious to know what digital you're using ^^

I have Olympus C-3020Z. 3.2 MP 3x optical zoom and up to 16 sec shutter time manually. It has been a lot of fun.
