Ever since I could remember Christmas, I remember a lot of card games and burning a lot of fires. The fondest memories I have are of playing Shanghai, Rummy and Spades. In recent years I've discovered another of Christmas' spirits.

Agree pierre. A good composition. Good use of light and a nice feel of depth. İ would like to see the cards a lil' more in-focus though but this could be caused by the lens too. A very nice work, congrats. :)

The fire i couldn't help...but the cards i can make clearer. I guess i didn't think of it in time. Thanks for the critiques..I'll remember them for next time.

I really like this shot. It's warm, cheery and just seems to ooze Christmas spirit without being the classic red/green. I think the blurry cards/fire works nicely. Had they been sharper, and in focus, it might not have had the same effect.
Also, being Irish myself, I give you kudos for the Irish Cream Liqueur. ;)
