The beach beyond is a wonderful interesting background. I agree, he really pops!

I love the tones in this, he pops, and the background really adds to the image. The only thing that might have made the image better is a bit more sharpness to the gulls feathers.

I too like the tones. You must have been bribing this bird with bread to stand and pose for you!! lol.
