This is the sight that greeted me at my door one evening after returning from walking my dog. It was actually turning dark when I took this photo. I snapped it and immediately ran indoors. Through another door, of course.

They are amazing the way they can climb a vertical surface like that. As they say, it was probably more scared of you than you were of it... do you know what type it was?

I'm not sure what type of snake it was. I've had some guesses from friends, but nothing definite.

A seen this in the booth and had to pop by to see what was going on. Over here we get the odd worm climbing up our door if it`s been raining...but a snake? Many thanks for showing us this. I would struggle to get to sleep in case it got in.
