2 1/2 month old Devon Rex Kitten. Her tail is calico and she has tan markings on her face and head and they call those a Calico Van. She is absolutely adorable.
She's a cutie, for sure. It looks like you used available light, and while I think it's the best when available, it needs close monitoring.
Your camera meter recorded the lower light levels reaching the front of the kitten and surrounding blankets etc, and automatically opened the lens to a very wide aperture. This reduced your depth of field to just the eyes which is why only the eyes are sharp. Nothing wrong with that as they're generally the most important feature in a portrait.
When using natural light, or any single light source for that matter, it's better to have the light more to the front or at just a slight angle and you won't get the blown (washed out) highlights such as this side light produced.
If you are using window light and have the advantage of white sheer curtains, they provide an even softer light.
Should you want a slightly greater area of sharpness and your camera doesn't have aperture settings, you should be able to increase your ISO settings to at least ISO400 which allows your camera to use a smaller aperture providing a greater depth of field (area of acceptable sharpness).
One other thing, Kitty has a beautiful expression, and cropping this to a head and shoulders shot is priceless.
