How's about ... this ... for a start on some very good image editing software?

Photofiltre ... freeware version. And widely used by many members on the site here.

A nice winter capture!! Another free editing software is Faststone - it does basic stuff. You can find it by doing a google search for it. Hope you have some luck with it.

I see that Les is pointing you in the right direction for free software. If I can do it, you can do it. Just experiment with it, and have fun. You will come to love doing the editing. I like the editing better than taking the pictures. Anyway, I like the snow filled tree against the red house/garage. Nice picture.

Snow in Alabama...I remember that day....Kids stayed out all day playing in it and me without my camera. I'm glad you got a good shot of it though. Well done.

Apologies that I've not had time to look at your gallery for a while Kellie, life's got in the way of Caedes. I think Les's advice at the top of this thread is good. The image is interesting as it is, but there is some evidence of camera blur - viewed full size things aren't quite in focus. It's a nice winter shot though, the snow is so beautiful.
