I like the way you softened the image around your subject, but the frame is VERY distracting, and draws the eye away from the actual image. I found the Rules of Composition to be quite helpful in my photography. They taught me that starting with a good image makes my image enhancements a factor that makes a good image great instead of just saving a bad image. I'll say this: You seem to have mastered Photoshop more than I have.
