This sends a very bigoted message. You are of course entitled to your opinion, but this image sends a message of hate and this sort of attitude is a HUGE reason why I am not a member of your religion.

Whatever happened to loving thy neighbor as thyself? Would you want to see images posted insulting Christians? Why is there such a double-standard in American society when it comes to stuff like this?

You should just make your own web blog if you feel the need to post things like this somewhere. You could preach all you wanted to there too.

As far as I'm concerned, this should be removed. With organized religion being the root of a lot of the world's problems, I don't think we need it causing problems here.

OK. Let me but careful, thoughtful, but frank. The 1st Ammendment extends to all people. This includes Kevin Hayden. The difference between a "conservative-type" ideology and a "liberal-type" one is that the former is comfortable simply saying "I disagree with you" while the latter feels compelled (true to the ideology if their leaders) to silence or censor you by shaming you for "offending" them. It seems that no one has done enough homework on the subject to understand that when hatred and intolerance are practiced in the name of Christianity, those practitioners are bastardizing the teachings of Christ for their own personal gain. They are misinterpreting the New Testament. All the while, their critics give a free ride of tolerance to other religions like Islam which behead non-believers, cut the genitalia from young girls and murder each other faster than strat U.S. or Israeli bombs ever could. Keep in mind when THEY do these things they are interpreting their scripture literally. Jesus said "I am the only way". If this be true, it is anything BUT hatred to share this. Noone gets offended when you say there is only one correct answer to 2+2, and an infinite number of wrong ones. But God has placed your "offense" at the other claim within you as a red flag, to let you know just how important this is; we ain't talking about what's 2+2 anymore. If they found a cure for AIDS tomorrow, how many would say, "Only one cure? I wanna treat mine with carrot juice." Well, knock yourself out. Hope it works for ya. Jesus commands those who believe to share. Because He loves everyone. But, He is a gentleman who will not force Himself on anyone. So, He also commands us to drop it when people are uninterested. There have been things posted on Caedes that, if my "sensibilities" were weaker than they are, would have "offended" ME. But, I respect EACH of your 1st Ammendment rights. I said nothing. I have enjoyed my time at Caedes, but if the criticism here is indicative of the group as a whole, I will gladly "dust my feet off" and move on.

I don't get all the above?? I think people read...blah, blah, blah THERE IS NO GOD. I read it as a FOOL believes THERE IS NO GOD so it's saying you're a fool if you don't believe right?? It's a short sentence and I did get a D in High School English so perhaps I'm reading it wrong.

I have received a lot of complaints about this image, so I am going to address them here. Whether or not I agree with the implied message in this image, I cannot justify infringing on free speech for the purpose of avoiding possible offense. There is no limit to what a given person can be offended by, and that is why we cannot allow our actions to be dictated by such offense. In the US, speech can be legally restrained if it is calling for immanent illegal action. This image does not qualify as a call to action.

Think that you ruffled some feathers with this image whilst that was not your intention. I look at this as an image and let the message be whatever it might mean to somebody... everybody sees it differently.
As an image this is very good. The clarity and color are excellent and I love the way you presented the coin.

Thanks for proving me right that this site discriminates openly against Atheists. I will quit donating my hard money and posting here. I will continue to post my images on Deviant Art.
