Old volcano made this lake I believe. For those of you who don't know, Crater Lake is in Oregon, and you really ought to go and see it for yourself if you haven't it's really beautiful.

Every morning I will rest my arms a while upon the windowsill of heaven, gaze upon God, and with that vision in my heart turn strong to meet my day.

A most beautiful place... I love the blue water. I like how the pine trees frame the water. I definitely need to make a trip to the northwestern states one of these days. An amazing capture....excellent.

Wonderful! And me being in South Africa, I'll just have to look and enjoy it through your eyes and camera lense. Great picture and composition. Love the blue of the water, almost seem unreal. Thanx for sharing such wonderful places.

Yah, it was a volcano and still is, it just kinda collapsed in on itself a VERY long time ago. Think of it as Mt. St. Helens, 2 fold. A very awesome picture! There are a lot of oregon lovers around here on Caedes that would agree with me to I think. Thanx for sharing

Great picture! I love the reflection of the island in the water. Soon I will go to live near there (as soon as I get out of dental school). Can't take any more of Ohio!

Such a lovely capture. Could be in a magazine. The blues are so lush. Love the fir trees in the foreground. Seem to set off the photo, as least for me :) A shot you can be proud of~
